So much love for Scandinavian design. Their modern design is so much more different from European modern design. The modernist designers in Europe wanted to move forward and remove all trace of history from design in order to crete ‘good design’. However the Scandinavians have a very close connection to home and didn’t want to remove all of their history. They adopted a lot of modernist aspects but still kept some traditional values in their designs. I think the Scandinavian design is a lot more fun.
